Our Financial Planning Process
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
When you contact us, we'll provide a brief description of our services, philosophies, methodology and fee structures. We'll direct you to our web site (or mail you an introductory packet) to help you learn more.
If our services appear to fit your needs, we'll schedule a Get Acquainted Meeting (can be done on the phone or in person). You are requested to complete the confidential client questionnaire in preparation for the "GA" meeting.
Step 2: Get Acquainted Meeting or Teleconference
The Get Acquainted Meeting or Teleconference is a mutual information exchange. The completed confidential client questionnaire serves as an agenda. Your questions are welcome as you try to determine if we are the right financial planning firm for you. We discuss your needs, objectives, and appropriate services. We will also provide an estimated fee quote, a service agreement for your review and a data request form.
If you decide to engage us, return a signed copy of the service agreement and the initial fee specified in the service agreement.
Step 3: Data Gathering and Initial Preparation
When we receive the signed service agreement, the initial fee, and any requested data, we begin to formulate strategies to accomplish your objectives.
Step 4: Interactive Goal Setting Meeting or Teleconference
If necessary, we schedule this meeting to clarify information and refine objectives. We may call your attention to additional issues we may have noticed.
Step 5: Analysis and Plan Formulation
During this phase of the process, we analyze your information, research and formulate various alternative solutions and determine our recommendations.
Step 6: Presentation of Your Financial Plan
We present our recommendations and discuss all reports. We provide you with a written summary of our observations and recommendations, along with the specific steps to follow. Congratulations! At this point, you have a personalized blueprint, custom designed to meet your financial goals. Full payment of the balance for actual fees incurred is due at the conclusion of your plan presentation meeting.
Step 7: Plan Implementation and Follow Up
If you want or need our help with plan implementation and follow up, we will gladly discuss that option at the conclusion of Step 6. Whatever you choose, it is most crucial to take action. Also we urge clients to view the financial planning process as an ongoing lifetime endeavor. We recommend periodic reviews and updates.
